Welcome!

I’m Erin. I’m a communications professional based out of Philadelphia with a background in medical writing, financial writing, marketing, journalism and nonprofit work.
I currently work as a healthcare and finance writer at the advertising and marketing firm Lightstream, where I create a wide variety of print and digital materials, including ads, mailings, articles, video scripts, social media posts and more for dozens of health systems, banks and credit unions across the country.
I also have extensive nonprofit experience, having worked as writer and content coordinator at Living Beyond Breast Cancer, a national nonprofit that provides educational resources and emotional support to people with breast cancer and their loved ones. I wrote articles for the organization's website, managed its blog, and wrote, edited and managed the editorial schedules for the organization's newsletter and many of its educational guides.
In a previous nonprofit position, as program assistant at Centre Foundation, in State College, Pennsylvania, I did public relations, planned and staffed events, created marketing materials and communicated with the public about donations and grantmaking opportunities, all while handling the foundation's social media and its day-to-day administrative duties. In June of 2012, I spearheaded a project called Centre Gives, which raised more than $415,000 for the local community in just 36 hours. Centre Gives is now a Centre County institution.
I also have experience in journalism, through my work on community magazines at Hibu, and through my work at Penn State University’s prestigious Daily Collegian newspaper.
When I'm not working, I enjoy listening to Bruce Springsteen, watching scary movies and attempting to train my dog.
